Have you ever been on a prayer walk before?

Today we are going to pray for our neighbours. The people who live where we live.

You might know your neighbours, or you might not.

Go for a walk today. As you go, walk up and down your road. Have a look at the different homes that are there. Are they houses, are they flats, are they old or are they new? Notice what is around you and pray that God may bless the people that live in those homes.

You could pray that the people living there would know God. Or if you are friends with your neighbours you could say a Thank You prayer to God for your friendship.

If you know your neighbours well, maybe you could do something to show God’s love to them. You could write them a note to post through their letterbox. Or maybe you could make them a cake and leave it on their doorstep. We can show God’s love in lots of different ways.

If you’re not able to go out for a walk, you could draw a map of your road instead.
