Today we are going to pray for people who help us. That can be anyone you can think of who helps you.

To start with we are going to make some praying hands, like the ones in the picture.

You’ll need a piece of paper (any colour), a pen and some scissors.

Start by folding your piece of paper in half width ways.

Then put your hand on the paper with your thumb against the fold.

Draw around your hand … make sure your thumb is still touching the fold.

With the paper still folded, cut around your hand print….BUT … don’t cut around the edge of your thumb! Then then you open the hands up they should still be connected where the thumbs join.

Now you’ll need your pen again. On each finger write the name of someone who helps you. It could be your teacher, or your Mum, or your Grandad or your friend, your childminder, or your neighbour. Anyone who helps you with thing. When you write their name say ‘Thank you God that ….. helps me. Please will you help him/her by keeping them safe and well. Amen’
