Today we give thanks and pray for doctors, nurses and everyone who works for the NHS.

If you have PlayDoh at home then go and find it! We’re going to use PlayDoh to help us pray.

Can you use your PlayDoh to make a doctor? Then can you make a nurse? Then I wonder who else you can think of that works at a hospital or doctors’ surgery? Can you make them too? When you’ve finished making each person, take a minute to say Thank You to God for the amazing work they do. Then ask God to help that person while they are doing their job. Maybe you could pray that God would give doctors lots of energy when they are super busy looking after people. Maybe you could pray that God would help nurses to feel loved and cared for even when they’re dealing with difficult patients. Maybe you could pray that Porters would know that we appreciate how hard they work, moving everyone around the hospital to where they need to be.
