Sharing our Experience of God's Love

13

Heavenly Father, as we celebrate this festival of Pentecost, may we give thanks for all the local volunteers and neighbours who have been helping isolated and vulnerable people in this time of lockdown.   We praise you that your love has been shown so generously and remember that “God has no hands but our hands”.  Thank you Lord.

I took this prayer station from the Young People's path.

As you watch remember that although we are all different people in different places,  we are drawn together as part of God’s family, no matter where we are! You will need: a plate, some skittles sweets and some hot water. Start by arranging the skittles around the edge of the plate.

Pour some hot water onto the plate to cover its surface. Make sure you pour it carefully so that the skittles stay in place.

2Keep watching the skittles …. Slowly their colour will start to run.

As the colours all start to come together, say a Thank You prayer to God.

‘Thank you God that even while we are apart, we can all pray to you together’.

Amen
