Lord, the defence of the realm is in the hands of our Armed Forces, protect them as they go about their loyal service to us in combat and in peace, throughout our world. 

Grant them the strength and courage as they test their skills against the perils that they face, now and in the future.  

Help them to feel your presence and remind them that your tender love is around and within us all now and forever more.
