It’s difficult not being able to see our friends at the moment.

I’m sure you’re missing your friend’s lots.

So today we are going pray for our friends!

Everyone loves Lego! If you have Lego, or Duplo or any sort of building blocks, now is the time to get them out.

Choose a different brick to represent each of your friends. If your best friends favourite colour is blue then you might choose a blue brick for them, or if your friends favourite football team wears red your might choose red for them. You can choose as many bricks as you like to represent as many friends as you like.

Then use those bricks to help you with this prayer. Try saying the prayer outload and doing the instruction with the bricks.

 

Almighty God, Thank you for giving me wonderful friends. Whether I have lots of friends or a few close special friends, I thank you for each and every one of them.

At the moment we are all spread out in different places (scatter the pieces on the floor or table)

I pray that you would keep my friends safe.

I pray that my friends would be happy (use the pieces to make a smiley face)

And I pray that when it is safe for us to be back together again (join all the bricks together)

that we would have lots of fun together!
