St Francis’, which recently celebrated forty years of life, worship and service, was originally built to serve the Warren Rise estate around Upper Chobham Road. It is the smaller of the two churches in the parish and has an intimate and friendly atmosphere and is set in pleasant woodland surroundings. The congregation is particularly warm, welcoming and adaptable. The whole building has recently been completely refurbished and re-ordered to make it a much more usable and flexible space for worship and community activities. A Sunday worship is as follows at 10.00am First Sunday Holy Communion Second Sunday All age Worship Third Sunday Holy Communion Fourth Sunday All age Communion. There is an informal Evening Service on the second Sunday of each month at 6.30pm. Children are welcome every Sunday morning and there is a special group for them when it is not an All age service.
